We are super excited to be now providing a range of outdoor activities at our new Hosts of Kelly and her team at The Ash Inn Mow Cop.
All our acivities run on the bottom of the field behind the public house the activities are run by Active Aardvark Actvities and not connected to the Pub in any way. Should you have any questions that are not answered on our website or bookings page please contact us directly on 07806 761921.

Axe Throwing
The session will last 90 minutes and contain Upto 10 participants. There will be 5 targets being used at any one time so everyone will get a considerable amount of throwing time.
During the fun session you will learn to throw several different types of "Flying Angels" and Tomahawks specifically designed for the sport of axe throwing and if the skill level is present then it may be possible to also learn to throw special throwing knives.
We will cover all aspects of safety and techique and by the end of the session you'll be an expert!

This is a great activity to have fun with family and friends.
We are an experienced , qualified and fully insured professional outdoor activity provider.
All our instructors are Qualified, DBS checked and 1st aid trained.
We have comprehensive risk assesments and procedures in place to ensure safety of all participants.
ARCHERY
The session will last 90 minutes and contain Upto 10 participants. There will be 5 targets being used at any one time so everyone will get a considerable amount of shooting time.
During the fun session you will learn to shoot recurve bows under the guidelines of Archery GB.
We will cover all aspects of safety and technique and by the end of the session you'll be an expert!
All equipment is provided for your use. The use of your own equipment is prohibited.
Archery is a fun and engaging activity that can be enjoyed by all ages from 8 to 100.
This is a great activity to have fun with family and friends.

We have comprehensive risk assesments and procedures in place to ensure safety of all participants.
Air Rifle/ Pistol Experience
During the fun session you will learn how to shoot Air Rifles safely in a controlled enviroment instructed by a NSRA
(National Smallbore Rifle Association) qualified air gun coach.
We will cover all aspects of safety and techique and by the end of the session you'll be an expert! You will be instructed in the use of open site rifles shooting "olympic" style standing shooting.
Air Rifle target shooting is a fun and engaging activity that can be enjoyed by all ages from 9.
There will also be an opportunity to try shooting various types of air pistol.
The session will last 90 minutes and contain Upto 10 participants. There will be 5 targets being used at any one time so everyone will get a considerable amount of throwing time.
